A metronome helps you lock in the tempo. But in popular music, rhythm is more than a steady pulse: there is articulation, accents, polyrhythm and dialogue between instruments.

That is why I built Bombómetro: a metronome that, instead of a click, plays real folk percussion loops recorded by Beto Merino (Perkutor Loops). That way you practice rhythm within a musical context.

It works in the browser, with no sign-up, and there is an Android app.
